 What is an XML sitemap?

Similar to HTML sitemap, we can also create an XML sitemap which is better for ranking our blog posts in search results. You can easily create an XML sitemap for your blogger by just going to Blogger Dashboard > Settings > Custom Robots.txt > Paste the code and click save.

Enable Custom Robots.txt

To enable custom robots.txt, just go to settings and scroll down a little to see an option called Enable Custom Robots.txt in the Crawlers and Indexing Section. Just turn on the toggle button and then click the custom robots.txt option.

After you click on the custom robots.txt option, just copy the code below and paste it into the text field. Now click save and your work is done. Your XML sitemap is ready for your blogger.

Step 3

Replace [Your-Blog-Link] with your Blog Link
